What is the difference between Gilt and Gold 2% WM metal threads?

GOLDWORK RAM

The Goldwork Ram is an intermediate counted thread and goldwork technique. The kit comes with a detailed instruction booklet with lots of diagrams to guide you through the embroidery.

Working the embroidery: The design is transferred onto the fabric using the tissue paper tacking method. The face of the ram is worked in a blackwork pattern. Shading and dimension is created on the face by changing the colour of the metallic thread or adding a stitch down the center of the diamond shape in the pattern. The face is outlined in gold pearl purl. The horn is padded with crochet cotton and then a variety of textures of gold purl thread are sewn over the crochet cotton in a similar method of sewing down bugle beads.

I am offering free correspondence and free on going critique for this kit, for more details go to - Free on going critique.
