Cross-Stitch Meets Blackwork - "Contemplation"

"This has been such a journey for me. This is my first experience ever with blackwork embroidery and I was afraid of it. When I first got the kit I thought to myself that I will never make it, and then I started. The instructions are so friendly and helping, its' like someone took me by the hand and slowly let me go to my way. On the last stage of the work (the pattern under the cat) I didn't even need the instructions anymore. I was very lucky to choose Tanja Berlin's design to start my new and relaxing and so rewarding hobby!"

Cross-Stitch Meets Blackwork - "Swan Reflections"

"'It has been fun to embroider the beautiful swan reflections. I changed the border a little bit because I wanted both sides to look the same, using Holbein stitch and "Wiener Kreuzstich"
