Please
Note: For customers paying by credit
card outside of Canada, the bank will do the currency exchange from
Canadian dollars to your own currency for you with no action on your
part and there are no exchange fees. For an idea on how much your
order will costs you can use the following Currency

When using the  Shopping
Cart
system you will place your credit card information on the Secure
Payment Page of my website.
You will be able to tell that the Payment Page is secure as
the address bar is https:// rather than http:// and
there is a yellow padlock either at the top or the bottom of the page
on the task bar. All information is sent to me encrypted.
All orders are in
Canadian dollars, the bank will process the credit card transaction
into the currency of your country. The cost of the order will depend
on the exchange rate at the time the credit card transaction is
processed, the bank does not charge a service fee for exchanging from
one currency to another. For an idea of what your order will cost in
your currency you can use the following Currency

I
will mail your order 1 -2 business days after receiving your order on-line.
Payments by Visa or
MasterCard Credit Card (Over the Telephone or by Mail):
If you
prefer not to place an order over the Internet you may email me with
your telephone number and the best time to contact you. I will call
you back (any where in the world) and we can do a credit card
transaction over the telephone.
You can
also telephone me at Canada (403) 274 6293. Or you may mail me your
order with your credit card details to the address below.
PayPal
You can use the services
of PayPal to pay for your order which accepts other credit card and
payment types. If you select the PayPal option on the payment page I
will email you an invoice letting you know how to pay for your order
through PayPal.
Payments by Mail
If you would like to pay
for your order by cheque (Canadian cheque, USA cheque or Cashiers
cheque) or by money order please email
me or telephone me with your list of requirements to
confirm the order prior to mailing the payment.
You can use the shopping
cart to make a list of the items that you would like.
Copy the contents of the shopping cart into an email and email it to
me at tanja@berlinembroidery.com
so that I can check that I have all the items in stock and that the
mailing is correct.
If you do not like to use
the shopping cart then email
me with a list of your requirements and then I will
email you a confirmation of your order with the cost of mailing.
Alternatively you can
telephone me - Tanja at (403) 274 6293 to confirm your order before
mailing your payment.
Once you receive an email
order confirmation from me then the payment can be mailed to the
address above and made payable to Berlin Embroidery Designs.
Payments by Personal
Cheque Canada and USA only (By Mail):
You can pay me by
personal cheque in Canadian dollars or USA dollars. Make cheque
payable to Berlin Embroidery Designs. Please email
me first to confirm the order before mailing the cheque.
Payments by Cashiers
Cheque (Money Draft) All Countries (By Mail):
Cashiers Cheque can be
purchased at your bank. Please ask the cashier to make a money order
out in Canadian Dollars or US Dollars to 'Berlin Embroidery
Designs'. The bank may charge you a fee to process the Cashiers
Cheque and it may be cheaper to purchase a Money Order. Please email
me first to confirm the order before purchasing the Cashiers Cheque.

Payments by Money Orders All
Countries (By Mail):
Money orders can be
purchased at any bank, by anybody. Please ask the cashier to make a
money order out in Canadian Dollars or US Dollars to 'Berlin
Embroidery Designs'. The bank may charge you small fee to
process the money order. Please email
me first to confirm the order before purchasing the
money order. To have some idea of what the cost of your order will be
in your own currency you can work out the exchange rate at the

Payments by Money Orders All
Countries (By Mail):
You can pay for your
order directly from your bank account to my bank account. There is a
$15.00 Canadian dollar transfer fee to paid to Berlin Embroidery
Designs to cover the charges by my bank and then your own bank may
charge a fee. If you are interested in paying for your order by bank
draft (money transfer) please email
me for my bank details. You will need to fill out a
form at your bank to make the transfer. Money usually clears from
your account to my account in 2 - 3 business days. To have some idea

How
To Use The Secure Shopping
Cart System
The
shopping cart system is a straight forward method of placing an
order. You can experiment by following the examples below.
Example
You have
decided you want to purchase Copper No. 1 Pearl Purl.
-
Select the
quantity of yards that you would like by typing in the number
-
From the
'Select Colour' Menu click on Copper
-
Click on
'Add to Cart'
(M1PP) 1 Yard of No. 1 Pearl Purl: $10.00 Canadian Dollars
To view
the order click on 'View Cart' next to the 'Add to Cart' Button or on Shopping
Cart
in the links list.
You may
decide that you also want Silver No. 1 Pearl Purl. To order follow
the same procedure as above but this time click on Silver in the
'Select Colour' menu.
If the
item is not showing in the shopping cart this may be because you do
not have Java Script installed or enabled on your web browser, you
need Java Script to be able to view the items in you shopping cart.
Netscape and Microsoft offer free Internet browsers which support
Java Script.
To remove
an item from the shopping cart you need to be on the Shopping
Cart
page. Click on the 'Remove' Button next to the item that you want to remove.
When you
have placed all the items that you would like you then go to the Shopping
Cart
page. (There is a limit of 19 items that can be placed in the
shopping cart, if you would like more items you will need to place
two orders, you will not be charged for mailing twice, only for the
order as a whole).
Add
the mailing costs to the order, the mailing goes by weight and by
parcel or letter. If there is ....PARCEL MAIL.... by any one of your
items then the whole order is mailed as a parcel and you should go by
the weight and by parcel for the cost of mailing your order. If you
are unsure what the mailing costs should be, you can leave the
mailing costs and I will work out the costs for you when I receive
the order.
When
the mailing costs have been added you can click on 'Check Out' you
will be directed to the delivery information page where there is a
summary of your order and your delivery information to be filled out.
When
you submit the form you will be directed to the Secure
Payment Page where
it is safe to fill out your credit card details. You can tell that
Secure Payment Page is secure as the address bar is https://
rather than http:// and there is a yellow padlock either at
the top or the bottom of the page on the task bar. All information is
sent to me encrypted. I am the sole proprietor of the business and I
am the only person who see's your credit card and mailing
information. Once the credit card transaction for your order has been
completed your credit card information is deleted from my computer, Tanja.
