I understand it can be pretty tricky splitting the stitches, you have stayed on the pencil design which is really good and you have a good shape and size to the toe. When you work the split stitch line on your next toe make sure that you bring the needle up through the previous stitch worked (about 1/8th of an inch from the end of the stitch) because you are coming up in the end of the previous stitch, which is backstitch, you will get him or even line if you work split stitch.
The length and angle of your satin stitch is really good. You have a space between your second and third stitch so please sew a stitch in between those two, and then try and keep your stitches really close together so you do not have to go back and add stitches. Can you work about six more stitches and then post a picture so I can check?
