Don’t forget to finish off the top of the row which is treated like the first row of long and short stitch, where the stitches are long and short again instead of the same length stitches.
The first stitch you will need is a sneaky stitch, which I have drawn on your picture in blue, which is half the length of the short stitch, just to swing the angle around and then you can go back to doing long and short stitch.
The rest of the row looks great, the stitches are nice and close together, a good length and angle.
You can go on to the next row and if you like you can work a little bit of row and then post a picture so that I can check that the stitches are in the correct position.
