I have completed the first row of long and short stitch. Looking at the photo it seems my long stitch is too short, maybe? Also, do you have any suggestions on how to prevent knots on the thread as it is worked? I seem to have a knotting problem especially with the lighter threads. If I pay attention to the thread re-twisting it every so often as I work seems to help, but sometimes I get involved and forget and grr! a knot forms. Thanks!
