You can add a stitch in the black that you’ve just worked as it looks like there is a space there.
I have drawn the angle of the stitches on your picture, I hope this clarifies the angle and position of your stitches and the color. The pink lines represent the 3799 and the two blue lines sections represent the black. I did two different blue shades for the black as it is clearer to see the stitches.
