Berlin Embroidery Designs – Tanja Berlin
Hi Jill
Row 2 looks excellent! you do not have to do anything different to the row.
In regards to the short stitch, you can leave it as it is.
What you have to be careful of when working the long and short stitch on the next row above the row with the short stitch is that you do not have two stitches the same length next to each other. You do not have much choice where to split that short stitch because it is very short so you just have to make sure that the stitch next to it is not split in the same location.
You may have to pre-plan where you will split the last few stitches on the row so that you get along a short stitch effect. It will be good practice and it is not necessary to take out the short stitch or stitch over it.
In the future do not finish a row with a short stitch so it is quicker and easier to work the long and short stitch on the next row.
