You do what you can with the stitches that you have on the previous row I think you did a good job at the top of the row. When I look at your embroidery I don’t compare it to mine I look at your stitching to see if it looks blended and the top section looks really good.
The middle section I would work at a slightly different angle. You need to look ahead to the next section to see what angle that is going to be and when you work a middle section find the in-between angle from the section you already worked to the next section that you are going to work.
The angle of your middle section is more the angle of the next row so be conscious of the row that you are working on.
