Transfer Gauze and Pen
Transfer Gauze and Pen
$12.74 USD
An easy way to transfer a design from paper to fabric without the need of a light box.
Place the fine fabric gauze over your design and trace the design onto the the gauze using the water erasable pen (the blue ink of the pen will go through the fabric gauze and onto your design so take a photo-copy of your design if you do not want it to be touched with the blue ink).
Place fabric gauze with the traced design onto the fabric (no need to flip the design). Trace over the lines again and the blue ink goes through the fabric gauze to leave an outline of your design on the fabric.

Fabric – Muslin Southern Belle
The Southern Belle muslin fabric (Calico in European terms) is a 100% cotton fabric and is light cream in colour.
This wonderful fine quality muslin fabric has a 200 thread count (regular muslin fabric thread count starts at 70) and no flecks, specks and slubs which is common in muslin fabric, it has a very clean look. It makes an ideal ground fabric for needle painting and other forms of surface embroidery. I use the southern belle fabric in my needle painting kits. It can be used double for extra support when working goldwork and as a backing fabric for silk fabric.
