WHITE WORK EMBROIDERY KITS Fine White Work: is the most fine and delicate of all embroideries, free embroidery stitches are worked on two layers of shadow linen with a layer of net sandwiched between. When the embroidery stitches are complete layers of linen fabric are cut away giving the embroidery different tones of white creating depth. Pulled work is used on the single layer of linen. FINE WHITE WORK MAGNOLIA The Magnolia is a beginner to advanced Fine White work technique. The kit has detailed instructions and lots of diagrams to guide your through the embroidery. The instructions are written with the beginner in mind and intended to guide embroiderers of any level through the embroidery from beginning to end. The fabric comes with the design hand drawn on so there are no worries about transferring the design. Working the embroidery: Three layers of fabric (two layers of shadow linen with a layer of net sandwiched in-between) are sewn together with embroidery stitches. When all the embroidery has been worked, layers of linen are cut away from the back or the front of the work. This will leave some areas with two layers of fabric, some with one layer of fabric and some with net.
