WHITE WORK EMBROIDERY KITS Fine White Work: is the most fine and delicate of all embroideries, free embroidery stitches are worked on two layers of shadow linen with a layer of net sandwiched between. FINE WHITE WORK MAGNOLIA The Magnolia is a beginner Fine White work technique. Working the embroidery: Three layers of fabric (two layers of shadow linen with a layer of net sandwiched in-between) are sewn together with embroidery stitches. When all the embroidery has been worked, layers of linen are cut away from the back or the front of the work. This will leave some areas with two layers of fabric, some with one layer of fabric and some with net. On the single layer of fabric pulled stitches are worked, in the net areas net stitches are worked. (The embroidery stitches are straight forward and worked with white floss on white fabric, the threads of the fabric are counted for the pulled work). The kit has detailed instructions and lots of diagrams to guide your through the embroidery. The instructions are written with the beginner in mind and intended to guide embroiderers of any level through the embroidery from beginning to end. The fabric comes with the design hand drawn on so there are no worries about transferring the design.
