The monogram B needle case is worked with in the technique of Or Nue which is the method of creating a design on gold thread by couching down the gold thread in coloured couching stitches. Beppy used a gold Japan thread couched down with blue embroidery thread. The embroidery is in the cover of a 2 page needle case. The exterior is made using blue silk dupioni fabric and the pages are in blue felt. Approximate time it took to make: 6 hours.
