Five interlocking squares are worked with in the technique of Or Nue which is the method of creating a design on gold thread by couching down the gold thread in coloured couching stitches.

Beppy used a gold Japan thread couched down with five colours of embroidery thread worked on 20 count mono canvas. The colours of the embroidery looks different if you turn the embroidery by 90 degrees. The embroidery has not been finished into anything. Approximate time it took to make: 6 hours.
