Sounds good, normally I work the cracks in the bark first because they are behind the bark which is worked in French knots and I like some of the French knots to be overlapping the cracks.
I cover the French knots in the last online class lesson as I worked them last but they can be worked before the body of the bird, which would be a more logical order, I just couldn’t decide what to do on the branch when I stitched the design.
