Hi, everyone. Tanja asked us to introduce ourselves so I will. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, and have a southern double first name which is Mary Moore, last name is Ritchie. My stitching career started when I was in the 5th grade and we were studying about the colonies in America. I stitched my first sampler for a show of early american life. I left stitching for a number of years while building my own business and raising three children but am back full swing since retiring in 2005. I was doing only needlepoint but have all the pillows I can use so I switched to embroidery which I absolutely love. I am 81 yrs. old and still kicking and stitching. I devote nearly every afternoon to stitching while listening to audiobooks on CDs. Great way to spend the hours during the pandemic. I look forward to reading your introductions.
