The photo size is spot on.
The satin stitch looks really good, I can’t actually see the individual long and short stitches on the area so that’s good, that means that it’s been stitched well and the area looks blended.
If you are comfortable working the split stitches at that the length that you have them, that is fine, your stitches are little bit shorter than what I worked my stitches so it will take you a bit longer to stitch the lines, but you also have a bit more control of the shape of the lines when they are worked a bit shorter. You have split the stitches very well so if you continue with what you are doing that will be great.
