Sorry for the conflicting information this is a complicated embroidery to write instructions for because of the color changes and to keep the instructions consistent.
In the PDF file I made a mistake in the wording, I didn’t check the instructions properly when I wrote the PDF file, thanks for pointing this out.
Please see the picture below for clarification of the colors. it is a little unclear on the diagram on page 27 that 3799 is also worked for a few stitches next to the black so that there is not a jump in shades from black to 413.
