Berlin Embroidery Designs – Tanja Berlin
Hi Catherine
You have done a really good job on the length and position of stitches and your angle is well controlled.
There are some spaces in the row that you can fill in as there should be no spaces between the stitches in the middle of the row between the two pink lines that I have drawn on your picture. Above and below this line there are spaces between the stitches because this is where the long and short stitch finish.
A way to spot the spaces is to hold the embroidery up to a light source like a window or a lamp and look through the stitches at the middle part of the row, if there are spaces in the middle part of the row then you need to fill them in otherwise you’ll find on your next row the stitches will be even sparser because there will be not enough stitches to split into
I have drawn onto your picture the location of the stitches can you hold your embroidery up to a light source before you fill in these spaces so you can see the spaces clearer.
