Hi Kristin, Your bird looks beautiful. I am amazed that you have not done needlepainting before as your long and short shading in the head and body and your French knots and your bird’s expression due to his eye all look wonderful. I went back to see your introduction to see if you’d been doing surface stitching for decades like some people but it looks like you have mainly done cross stitch. It is very encouraging to see your finished bird. Jill
