Hi Tanja, This is a question related to your feedback on April 19th about the last stitch of 1b that is too short.
You said, ‘Do not end the row with a short stitch like you did as it could be hard to split the split nicely with the stitch on the next row, it is better to leave a space here and work the stitches in the next row a bit longer. Or make the last stitch longer if you require the color in that area.’
I did not want to take out the last stitch as I’d have to take out the whole section in that color. And the section to the right in the same color 413 where I carried the thread at the back might come loose. I did read your feedback to Catherine how to take out a few stitches and secure the thread.
I was wondering if I could fix the short stitch at the left end of 1b by
- doing one longer stitch over top of it in the same color (it might make it too thick)
- or lengthening it in the same color by splitting up into the stitch and adding a stitch above it. That would result in two long stitches beside each other.
- or splitting up into the stitch with the lighter color next to it when I do that section of row 3.
I have 2 more general questions I will put in the question section of the class website.
Thank you, Jill
