Hi Tanja, Thanks for all the info. Margaret Dier had her lots of tiny dots but they were all inside the embroidery. I was using 1 magnetic needle minder but this week I remembered I had a pack of very strong blue magnets that embroidery shops sold (maybe for canvas needlepoint) before all the pretty needle minders were available. So I put them in each corner and it is much easier now. And I stopped parking the threads on the magnets on the back of the fabric as regardless of how careful I was to position the threads taut and out of the way they got caught and one knotty mess was enough to make me switch to the front.
All the info you have provided about parking really makes a difference.
