Berlin Embroidery Designs – Tanja Berlin
Hi Susan
The beak looks good, you do not need to do anything else to it and the French knots are coming on beautifully.
Can you post a picture once you have completed the embroidery? I will leave the forum open for another few weeks so people can download any information they want to, I just won’t be checking the forum very often.
You can also email me the picture when you are done. I would love to have a picture of your finished acorn woodpecker embroidery on my website on the customers photo gallery page, so that visitors to the website can see your beautiful work:

I am glad you stuck with the embroidery as it is not an easy technique and I understand the frustration. In my opinion needle painting is one of the hardest embroidery techniques and you have done a very good job.
I do have some other good kits specifically to learn a technique which come with PDF files with work in progress pictures on the following page of my website:

I do not know when I will be running an online class again, as it takes up a lot of my spare time and I would like to put some time aside now to stitch some new designs.
