The cornflower is worked with in the technique of Or Nue which is the method of creating a design on gold thread by couching down the gold thread in coloured couching stitches. Beppy used a gold Japan thread couched down with blue, purples and green embroidery thread. The embroidery is mounted in a a picture mat, ready for framing or can be hung by the thread on the back of the mat. Approximate time it took to make: 6 hours.
