Blackwork Elephant Embroideries Stitched by Students
“I love doing Blackwork and especially Tanja’s beautiful designs. The elephant was a class taken at the Embroidery Association of Canada’s seminar in Calgary.
Tanja’s instructions were excellent and although quite a big project, I enjoyed every minute stitching it. I especially love the shading achieved by the different threads used and the stitches with various degrees of filling.
I entered him in our local 2016 Fall Fair where he won not only a first, but best Needlework Picture of the Fair.“
