Fabric – Ecclesiastical Linen Fabric – Sale
The Ecclesiastical Linen Fabric is antique white, closely woven, firm and smooth, 100% linen fabric.
The fabric is used for churchwork embroidery, fine white work surface embroidery and other surface embroidery techniques. Not suitable for pulled work or drawn thread due to the close weave.
I have few pieces on sale as that have faint creases that remain after being washed and ironed.

Fabric – Lugana Black 25 Count – Sale
Lugana fabric is a blend of 52% cotton and 48% rayon.
The fabric has even weave threads so that stitches/patterns will work out more regular than on an uneven weave such as linen fabric. It has a nice smooth and firm surface so that when the embroidery is complete the viewer sees the embroidery and is not distracted by the fabric.
I have few pieces of Black 25 Count Lugana fabric on sale as there is a fold crease down the center of the fabric that may not wash or iron out. Excellent value if you intend to cover the entire surface with stitching.

Jacobean Tree Instructions – PDF Downloadable File
The Jacobean Tree is for all level of embroiderers. I am no longer providing a kit for this design but you may purchase the instructions as a downloadable PDF file which has 16 pages of step-by-step diagrams and instructions on how to work each stitch. There are 23 surface embroidery stitches worked on the traditional Jacobean design.

Jacobean Tree with Bird Kit – Discontinued
The Jacobean Tree with Bird is an advanced crewel surface embroidery technique. I am discontinuing this kit.
If you are new to the technique you may want to try a smaller design first as this design is large and will take some time to stitch.
The design uses traditional Jacobean motifs and is stitched in 14 traditional Jacobean colours in Appleton crewel wool on traditional linen twill fabric. The design comes printed on the fabric so you do not have to be concerned about transferring the design yourself.
There are 22 surface embroidery stitches worked on in a single strand of the crewel wool on natural colour traditional Jacobean linen twill fabric.
