Welcome!

Hi I’m Tanja Berlin and I design hand embroidery kits for other embroidery enthusiasts to stitch. I also sell hand embroidery supplies, needlework threads such as goldwork / metal threads and needlework tools that I use myself so I can testify to their quality.

I am taking orders on an intermittent basis. There is a pop-up notification on the shopping cart page which will let you know if I am currently taking orders or when I will be next taking orders,

Have a happy and heathy 2024.

Tanja and the Fluffies.

New: Hapsburg Lace Needle Case Design

The Hapsburg Lace needle case is a beginner canvas work design.
The lacy stitches are worked in Perle cotton on 18 count mono canvas. It is an easy technique, great for all level of stitches and can be worked in the hand in your most comfy chair (no frame necessary).

New: Updated Webpage

I have updated the webpage for Mounting/Finishing Needlework Ready for Display with lots more photos and instructions. The benefit of mounting your own needlework is to ensure that the work is mounted properly using acid free board and materials that will not harm the embroidery. It is also more cost effective as you do not have to pay someone to finish the needlework and you can purchase pre-made frames which is more cost effective.
A lot of my needlework designs that I sell fit well in 8 inch by 10 inch pre-made frames.

Metal Threads for Hand Embroidery

I supply a wide range of hand embroidery metal threads for goldwork embroidery in gold, silver and copper: Bullions, Check Thread, Flatworm, Gimp Cords, Grecian Twist, Jaceron, Japanese Threads, Lizerine, Lurex, Milliary Wire, Passing Threads, Pearl Purl, Plate, Purl Threads, Rococco, Spangles, Tambour, Twisted Threads.

All Metal Threads

Sale Metal Threads

I am discontinuing Gold 2% WM Metal threads as the cost of the wire to make the threads has gone up by 40%, once sold I will not be bringing in the threads again. The gold 2% threads have 2% gold in the plating whereas the gilt threads have 0.5% gold in the plating so the gold 2% threads tend to have a deeper gold colour.

Beppy Berlin Needlework Gallery

Gallery  |  Embroideries Available for Purchase

Beppy Berlin is my mother who greatly inspired me to stitch and to become a designer.

Mum loved trying out lots of needlework techniques and was a part time teacher for over 50 years. She stitched small designs and enjoyed showing others how to stitch, she inspired people and made many friends through teaching needlework.

This gallery shows some of the needlework pieces that mum has stitched over the last 50 years. I will be adding more pictures in the future.
