I have available some pieces of Zweigart 18 Count Mono Canvas (18 holes to the inch) which is the canvas that I use for my Hapsburg Lace Designs.

The canvas is stiff so you do not necessarily require a frame to work on the canvas unless you have very tight tension and are pulling on your stitches hard or overlaying a lot of canvas work stitches as this can warp the canvas.

Currently I have Leventeen Blue, Black, Brown and Pewter canvas available in a variety of sizes. Antique Blue has been discontinued.

SALE: I have some small pieces of the muslin fabric that have some brown dots one or two fine grey/blue lines approximately 1/4 of an inch to 1 1/2 inches long on the fabric.

I cannot use these pieces for my needle painting kits as the line(s) or dots are not covered with the embroidery but they will be ideal for surface embroidery where the entire surface is covered or as a backing fabric or for practicing needle painting/thread painting.

Fabric – Tulle (Net) Honeycomb

Honeycomb tulle (net) has very even and pretty hexagon shapes and is higher quality than the standard dress making tulle which has irregular oval shapes. Tulle hexagon size is measured by the holes per inch (HPI).

The white polyester tulle is very fine and delicate and is the tulle that I use in my Carrickmacross Lace kits and Fine white Work kits There are 24 holes to the inch and is slightly stretchy.

The cotton tulle is off white in colour and the lines of the tulle are slightly thicker than the polyester tulle. The cotton tulle should be washed before use, expect 5% – 10% shrinkage.
